Sebastian Kneipp’s Garden

“Water heals everything, water works miracles, prevention is better than cure” – this unique health philosophy was created and perfected in the 19th century by the German clergyman Sebastian Kneipp, and it is the foundation of our approach. Wellness based on Sebastian Kneipp’s methods strengthens the entire body, hardens both the body and the mind, and boosts the immune system. The holistic approach to health improvement according to Sebastian Kneipp is based on a system of five elements: water therapy, movement therapy, herbal therapy, harmony therapy, and healthy nutrition. Following Kneipp’s recommendations, we have established a Kneipp garden in our courtyard for cold water treatments aimed at hardening the body and strengthening the immune system.

Hand treatment – KNEIPP’S COFFEE

How to perform the procedure? During inhalation and exhalation, first dip your right hand into the stone basin, then your left hand, and hold them there for 30–40 seconds or until you feel intense cold. This procedure is recommended to be done in the mornings.

Benefits: During the procedure, the capillary blood in the hands is frozen, and when it enters the bloodstream, it activates immune processes.

Foot treatment – REFLEXOLOGY PATH

How to perform the procedure? Walk barefoot for 3–30 minutes, starting from the beginning of the path and following the order of the steps. It is recommended to perform the procedure in the morning and evening.

How to perform the procedure? In the basin, walk alternately, raising your legs high like a stork, up to your knees, for 30–60 seconds or until you feel intense cold.

Benefits: The changes in temperature, water, and air improve and activate the immune system and lymphatic circulation.
